On Thursday 29th April, local media met at Palmwoods for an event at the Gourmet Gardens facility.
Guests were welcomed by the CEO Nick White and treated to some nibbles prepared by celebrity chef Dominique Rizzo of Ready Steady Cook.
Guests were taken on a short tour of the state-of-the-art facility to view
the process that sees the organically grown herbs simply washed, chopped,
blended and packed into tubes to retain their fresh taste and nutrition.
Throughout the tour, guests sampled a number of Gourmet Garden's products.
The tour concluded with an alfresco lunch prepared by Dominique Rizzo using Gourmet Garden products and wine tasting from local vineyard, Flame Hill Winery.
All the guests were impressed by Dom's cooking (as you could imagine!)
