The Darling Downs region has both boutique wineries and several vineyards. All the regions cellar doors are set close to their vineyards with rural views. The Darling Downs region enjoys a mild climate during winter and warm summers. The region’s altitude does vary considerably with a maximum height of 600m above sea level. This region has a strong history of wine production dating back to early last century.

Enjoy the more than 230 beautiful public parks and gardens of Toowoomba, particularly diring the Carnival of Flowers in September, Darling Downs Delicious at various locations during May, Wine Show and Mediterranean Challenge in June and various concerts and events at wineries in the Darling Downs region throughout the year.
