There are several well-established cellar doors, vineyards and wineries in the region including at Monto, Bargara, Mt Perry, Anderleigh, Mungungo, Gin Gin, Childers, Biggenden, Bundaberg and Gladstone.

This is a long region covering a large climate span. Weather will typically be cool to cold in winter with warm to hot summers.
Things to do and see
North Burnett has spectacular national parks with rugged gorges, imposing mountain ranges, beautiful waterfalls, lakes and serene rural views. In the region visit the Boolboonda Tunnel, Wolca Reserve, historic Mt Perry or travel to Cania Gorge and Mount Walsh National Park.
