A number of wineries, cellar doors and vineyards have been established within an hour of Brisbane from Mt Cotton to the picturesque Brisbane Valley including Ipswich, Purga, Harrisville, Mt Alford, Boonah, Stockyard, Marburg and Mt Nebo. Ipswich and the surrounding region is known as the food bowl of South East Queensland.
